From the depths of the freezer!

Not long ago, in a moment of urgency (we didn't have enough pasta sauce to make lasagna), I managed to dig to the bottom of the chest freezer and come up with a container of long-lost tomato sauce. I thought we'd used up the last of the sauce long ago and was marveling at my find when our friend Puja suggested that I inventory the entire freezer so we'd have a better sense of what really was still in there. I didn't take her advice until just now. I've just spent about 20 minutes pulling everything out of the freezer, counting it, and putting it all back in (a little neater this time). I've discovered that not only do we still have FOUR containers of tomato sauce in there, we have tons of zucchini, TONS of corn, a lot more berries than I thought, and 9 bags of frozen tomatoes. SO... If anyone wants to come over for all-you-can-eat chili and blueberry pie night, give us a jingle!
